What is Morse code?
Morse code is an encoding method that uses two symbols, dot (.) and dash (-), to represent letters, numbers, and punctuation. It was invented by American inventor Samuel Morse in 1837 and was once widely used in telegraph communication. A common convention is: dot "." and dash "-" form one character, letters are separated by spaces, and words are separated by "/" or three spaces.
